I recently read a book called “The Surge” by Larry Stockstill, in it, he talks about how when we think about the amount of people in the world that need Jesus it is hard to fully understand, we get lost in the numbers. But he describes it like this: If you had a single-file line representing the lost of the world that would start where you are standing and have everyone who needs Jesus to stand front to back that line would stretch around the world not one time, not two times, but 36 times. Those 36 lines represent 4.8 billion people who need Jesus. I am glad to be a part of a church that takes this call very seriously. Through local ministry and global ministry we are doing our part to impact those 36 lines.
